This is wonderful weather for late April! Here are two images that I took today.

A patch of violets and a Trilium leaf…

Here a fern opens as spring blossoms in Connecticut. Enjoy these moments while they last.
Please look at my galleries and enjoy the important moments of some of my clients that I have captured.

What a great day we had on Sunday. The Natural Light Seminar was a success for all who participated. Everyone learned something about their camera, how to shoot on Manual Mode and take control of the light.
Here is a couple of photos that my assistant and friend Roxanne Pandolfi took while we were out on our Photo Safari on the University of Connecticut Campus.
Great fun, great people, can’t wait for the next class! Check back soon for the details of the May photo class.
Dori and I were discussing some new techniques….

This is the whole class minus Roxanne. What were we photographing up on Horsebarn Hill?

Roxanne!

I am about to announce the details of the May class as soon as I iron out a few details. It will be an ‘on location’ Travel Photography Experience. It will be a blast! Check back here on the blog SOON! Space is limited. I want to keep the class size small in order to give everyone the personalized instruction and inspiration they deserve.

I recently went to the New England Institute of Professional Photography for 5 days of intensive study with photographers from around Connecticut, New England and all over the country. It took place in Hyannis, Mass. Here are a couple of images of Trey and Elizabeth Homan who taught us many helpful techniques in portrait photography.

I attended the school for professional photographers in Cape Cod last week. I want to thank all the photographers that made this week so inspiring. Some of my Connecticut photography colleagues joined me, like my friend Cheryl Cronin of Branford and Deborah Tual of Stamford. I met many Connecticut photographers as well as others from out of state. We shared ideas about photography, business and personal experiences in class, over meals and after hours. It was an intensive learning experience as we were coached by wonderful photographers who came from all over the country, volunteered their time and made it a truly fantastic week. I studied intensely with Elizabeth and Trey Homan from San Antonio, Texas. They are awesome people and very generous in sharing their expertise in portraiture with all of us. I am excited to put into action all the new ideas I came away with.
