Wedding Flowers

by Kim Bova on February 4, 2010

A favorite bouquet….

DSC_6990This one includes my favorite lily!  June is a good time for these I think.  She included Starfish ornaments – they were married by the seashore!  Nice touch.  Blush was the florist.

Other ideas:

You can make a homemade bouquet for a garden wedding.   Sunflowers or what ever is seasonal can be spectacular.  Whole Foods has a flower and bouquet service that I hear is “green” and very affordable.

Give away a packet of sunflower seeds (or whatever your bouquet features)  in a tiny metal bucket for every guest!  The bucket would have the guests name and table number on it.  Neat idea!

Do any of you have a favorite florist that you are working with or clever idea about making your own?  Please leave a  comment so  others can benefit.  Thanks!

Brides Choice Award 2010!

by Kim Bova on February 1, 2010

I am proud to be chosen again this year to receive the Bride’s Choice Award from the WeddingWire Network. This network recognizes vendors that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through surveys and reviews.

If you are a bride or groom, check out the  WeddingWire storefront.  There are many wedding professionals, from florists, dress shops and planners that are great at what they do. You can read reviews from real customers to find what you need to finish planning your wedding day.

You can even make your own wedding website to keep family and friends informed.  It is free and easy to set up.  My clients are doing that and having a great time with it!
