Taking time for yourself, family and friends.  What a concept in this busy world today.  I know that I have created a busy, hectic life for myself, which is great most of the time… but I was feeling tired and needed some fun time with my family and friends.

Since we only had ONE day to get out of our usual routine, we knew we had to squeeze the time in.  So, we got up early, took a train to NYC, met our friends at the Byrant Park Fountain next to the public library, walked, talked, visited St. Patricks Cathedral, ate some great Chinese food, went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and saw spectacular art from Egypt to the European Masters!  Then down to the west village to see more friends for dinner and then trained it home.  We did not get home until 1:30 am!  But we experienced all we could in one day and we’re not feeling any regrets! (Even though we are all tired today!)
