Family Portrait for 2011

by Kim Bova on December 28, 2011

Here it is!  The official Bova/Kaminsky family portrait.  Every year we try to make a portrait of the family.  This year when we had the time, we had no one else around to actually take the picture.  So, we set out into the orchard behind our property with tripod, camera, some stands for off camera flash and set it up.  We had a lot of fun in the process and I got plenty of exercise running back and forth to beat out the self-timer function on my camera!  Actually, it did wonders for my hair!  This one we liked the best and I share it with you.  Pretty soon it will be a 20×30 metal or canvas print for our living room wall!

James – Senior Portrait

by Kim Bova on December 4, 2011

I had the pleasure of photographing James on a cold but beautiful day in October.  He loves mountain biking and is a talented cross-country runner and runs for his High School team.  He will probably do well at this in college next year as well.  Here are a couple of my favorites from our studio session!

Evan – A senior who loves the outdoors.

by Kim Bova on November 27, 2011

It is nearing the end of ‘Senior Season’ for me, so I am posting another cool senior! Meet Evan, a confident, outdoorsman who loves fly-fishing.  We hiked down to rivers and streams, and even caught a great sunset.
