What is an engagement session and why do I do them? This is the question I get asked most when I meet with my newly engaged couples. It is simple. This is the opportunity for you as a couple to see how I work, feel what it feels like to be in front of the camera, and for both of us to get to know each other better and establish a relationship before the wedding day. For me it is a great way to explore and see how you photograph and what angles make you look your very best, so that I can give you my best when it really matters on the big day! AND, last but not least, it is fun and you both have a great experience with great images of yourselves to remember this time in your lives forever.
Here are a few of my favorites images from Erika and Steven’s session. These were taken on a spectacular day at Horsebarn Hill on the UConn campus in Storrs.

I had the honor of photographing two stunningly beautiful people this weekend. UConn students of Engineering, Zahra and Sina came to me for their photo session before their engagement/wedding party on Saturday. I wish you both the best!

What a weekend it was! Erika and Steven, a couple since their high school days were married in the beautiful town of Woodstock, CT, at her church where her father is the minister! He gave her away and married them! They rode in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor to the reception at the ‘Pink House‘ up the road! The cupcakes were incredible! I cannot remember the name of the baker! Please comment here if you know- he deserves recognition. Each one was a work of art. Here are some highlights!

Erika and Steven are both very talented musicians, graduates from the Dept. of Music at UConn. Wishing you the very best in your bright future together!
